Sunday 4th May 2008
The Dawn Chorus Walk will begin at the Green at 4.30 am.
The walk will be through Brittas Wood and around Brittas Lake.
Afterwards there is breakfast at Blooms.

Born in Clonaslee, Frank Dunne is an Actor, Playwright and Author.
This event is organised by Laois County Council,Laois Arts Office and Laois Library.
This event is free and open to the public.
SLIEVE BLOOM WALKING FESTIVAL 2007.
The Slieve Bloom Rural Development Society and the Slieve Bloom Walking Club organise a Programme of Walks on most Sundays from May to September, with local guides to enable you to get the most enjoyment and to benefit from their local knowledge of the terrain and of the Flora and Fauna encountered alone the way. ANNUAL DAWN CHORUS WALK IN CLONASLEE
The fourth Annual Laois Dawn Chorus Walk will take place on Sunday 20th May, starting at 4.30a.m. (yes, a.m.!!!)
Meeting at the Green in Clonaslee, the walk will go through Brittas woods, taking about 1.5 hours, with plenty of stops along the way
Breakfast afterwards at Blooms Restaurant in Clonaslee.

This great Annual Festival runs over 3 days in October. This year Clonaslee Heritage Centre hosts the storytellers on Saturday night. 13th October.
