WELCOME TO CLONASLEE ON-LINE.
Clonaslee is a beautiful, picturesque and well cared for village at the foothills of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in County Laois, about 70 miles from Dublin leaving the M7 at Junction 15. It is approx 9 miles from Mountmellick, Co. Laois heading in the direction of Birr on the R422 also 9 miles from Tullamore, Co. Offaly going on the Killeigh/Mountmellick road from Tullamore and turning to the right approx 5 miles from Tullamore. It is approximately 20 miles from Birr passing through Kinnitty and Cadamstown.
At the heart of our Community is the Clonaslee Community Centre, home to our many Local Organisations, Sports Clubs and Events.
We have so much on our door step so take time to enjoy.
Enjoy a walk from Clonaslee up to Brittas Lake and enjoy a picnic if you have time.
Take a drive up to Glenbarrow, where you can enjoy the walk to the waterfall through the woods. Let the children enjoy time in the water and do not forget to bring the picnic basket.
Stop for a bit to eat at The Swan Bar. Stop for an icecream at Flynn's Shop. Take the children up to the Childrens playground as you head up the cut road for more scenic drives or walks what ever takes your fancy.
This Website has been set up by the Clonaslee Community Development Association to promote both our Village and the Slieve Bloom Mountains with their many Attractions, Amenities and Events.
