TIdy Towns clean up evenings continue each Tuesday & Thursday evening starting at the Heritage Centre at 6pm. All help is much appreciated in keeping our village clean.

Tir na n'Og Playgroup now enrolling for September 2011. Free places for children starting primary school in 2012.

PARISH/COMMUNITY LOTTO DRAW
Takes place every Monday night in the Community Centre at 8.30pm. We thank all our ticket sellers who do great work. The funds are divided as follows:- 50% Community Development Association. 25% Parish Church & 25% shared equally between the two National Schools.
We thank you for your continued support to our local Lotto Draw.


SOCIAL DANCING
Clonaslee Community Centre Social Dancing takes place every second Friday of the Month. 9.30pm - 12 midnight. Light refreshments and Raffle. Admission only 8 Euro.
Tony Bird will entertain you on Friday June 10th is the next night for Social Dancing.

WHIST DRIVE EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT

Come and join us for Whist every Sunday evening starting at 9 O'Clockin the Parish Hall. Great prizes & raffle.

CLONASLEE SHOW 2011

Clonaslee Show Society present the
61ST ANNUAL PRODUCE AND LIVESTOCK SHOW 2011
on Sunday, 11th September 2011
at the Clonaslee Community Centre.

There will be sections for cattle, sheep, horses, donkeys, poultry, agricultural produce, cookery, sewing, knitting, flowers, art and photography, craft, vegetables and a dog show.

The Irish Draught Stallion Championship Final will be judged at the Show.

There will be a Vintage Section, Side Shows and a Tug of War.

Entries close on THURSDAY 1st Sept.

Entries on printed forms with fees are to be sent to the Hon, Secretary Blathnaid Delaney, Upper Coolagh, Clonaslee, Co Laois.

Our new tourist info point is in the Heritage Centre, Mon -Fri, 10am to 5pm.
Mr Matt Barrett is on hand to advise both visitors and locals on all the ameneties and events in Clonaslee and the Slieve Bloom Region.
